  1. Susanne, I have to think if you knew someone who cheated on his wife right after a child is born, brags about being able to grab or grope any woman he meets because of his wealth, tweets outright falsehoods, lies with a casual regularity and can never admit to being wrong, you would not like them. Not sure how you can support someone like that. It really boggles me.

    1. You know nothing of their marriage, but you sure didn’t care that Hillary was an enabler of sexual assaults and rapes by Bill.
You sure don’t care about his bastard child whose mother received monthly payments from a Arkansas State Trooper each month.
You don’t care that he won’t even recognize his own son.
You sure don’t care that millions of white, married women that were insulted overseas by the person you wanted to be President.

You do care about who sucked whose d-ck 12 years ago as if it’s any of your d@mn business.

You’ve lost all my respect dude, and you don’t even care that you have. It’s a really sad way to spend the rest of your days. Very sad indeed.

I’ll make sure I go home and ask Alex and Paul what I should do come November, cause I’m just some dumb white married women.

      1. No I don’t. Because the same applies. I have lost all respect for anyone who so willingly swallows the snake oil this con man is selling. You continually to excuse his behavior and rationalize his imbecility. You do not care he lies, and retweets Nazi lies. You do not care he shows an absence of morality. You do not care the man lacks the courage to even fire folks face to face. You do not care when he craps on those who do not adore him as you all do daily.

So basically………..we are on completely different wavelengths. I will still debate you, because I find those in the Trump cult hilarious and curious. And I will continue to point out what a vile, little man ya’ll elected. And I hope someday you break free of your programming, but do not hold much hope for that.

        1. No I don’t, and the proof is on the next page where I did criticize him with jerzey girl. Read it. I dare ya, you may or may not, but regardless you’ll just come back with same bullSchiff accusations of what and who I am. That’s why I know you’re unreachable and phuked in the head.

End of story. No sweat off my brow.

      2. Give me a frigging break…….lay off the holier than thou crap with Hillary. Your idol is a woman groping, porn star banging, liar, so it comes off as kind of silly. :)

    2. Nobody here cares what you think anymore. You’ve sacrificed your credibility at the altar of Trump hate and tantrums.

  2. And still after all this time, no condemnation of Hillary’s white, married women comment…..nothing. I see the same type of “they” too. THEY who will never criticize Hillary. THEY who secretly believe what she said.
THEY who clearly have sacrificed their own reputation to avoid condemning her comments.

    1. While others go overseas, as some self described Champion of Women, to insult white married women.
“We do not do well with white men and we don’t’ do well with married, white women. And part of that is an identification with the Republican Party, and a sort of ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your boss, your son, whoever, believes should.”

  3. “We do not do well with white men and we don’t’ do well with married, white women. And part of that is an identification with the Republican Party, and a sort of ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your boss, your son, whoever, believes should.”

Imagine that as your President. Just imagine.

    1. Imagine the outrage if Trump had said it. There would be a lynch mob forming on Pennsylvania Avenue.

The left has zero credibility or morals any longer…not that they ever have.

    2. Where is the outrage from the vagina hat wearing crowd?

Selective outrage based on party affiliation is despicable.

  4. Well heading to the Rochester Chop House. Ernst & Young is treating me, and another co-worker, for our assistance on a project.

    Yummm……later.

    1. Yep, I’m pissed we got put in the south region.

My heart wants to pick Creighton to win 2 at least, but at that point, might as well have them win the whole thing.

Some folks have empathy and compassion
    ———–

In all honesty, I don’t see any of them. If you’re using a single point in time, I can give you a picture of trump giving aid to flood and hurricane victims. For true empathy and compassion. . . .I don’t see much of it anywhere. I see teams of “sides” dehumanizing each other so that it’s easier to hurt the opposition. I see each side excusing their own faults while shining a spotlight on the opposite and screaming for blood. I see empty promises, using victims to forward agendas, and simple moves for power.

These are the times I see rural living as a blessing, I don’t have to deal with this stuff and these people directly.

    1. That’s all much easier than actually listening and getting to know your fellow humans and the internet makes it exponentially easier to be nasty without consequence. The public internet, or what it’s become is a scourge on humanity.

    2. But you’re getting involved at the local level and trying to make a difference. That’s where fixing this toxic environment starts. Good for you, Merc!

      1. 4 hour meeting on insurance and well heads tonight.

Also I got talked “to” from the same lady that was on my porch for 2 hours again. . .this time about garbage pickup location and how it doesn’t work for her.

  6. CG is quieting down tonight.
MY TURN now. One big problem. Right now nothing to say. What can I really say with all the Echoing.
BS POLITICS, very little, if any, rationality to be heard.

    1. I wonder if you and I are on the same page as not caring if there is the first woman CIA chief ? I just want to have the Right choice for the country

  7. Politics??????
Most people’s day to day life continues on ,no matter the “ignorant”[politics.
For me, in the morning it will be going to the grocery store again. Walking those aisles, checking my list , double checking to see if I may have forgotten something needed. Maybe even getting something not on the list for a change.
A common every day “LIFE” for most people .

    1. It seems like yesterday :) and its Weds again .

I have a meeting tomorrow night I am not looking forward to myself ..

  8. The “experts” on things that happened before they were even born. They know so much more than the people who actually experienced those times. Been spoken about many times but still you have the know it all , who know nothing.

  9. Personalities, have run across many in these darn near 90 years. I shake my head at some of them and sometimes wonder what world they are living in.
Of course it could be me and all the times I got dirt on my hands and bare feet, used that shovel, rake ,pushed that hand lawn mower plus many other things in those years.
OH YES, even cleaned out that little building out back of the house that had two regular sized holes and one shorter small hole in the seat part. 😀
We DID have soap & water to use after a hard , dirty days work.

  10. PHOTO FINISH PENNSYLVANIA!

    Say goodnight gracie :)

    1. Just out of city council meeting. 3 hour talk on insurance policies and wellhead negotiations with the county, and the fair board.

Concerning PA, I like both guys from what if seen of them. What strikes me is that if the Democrat wins it will be played as some rejection of conservative policy….nevermind the guy is pro business, anti-gun control, anti-democratic leadership, etc He’s the equivalent of a Nebraska Democrat. He’s more republican than any California republican.

      1. Plus he’s only in office til November . It iIS seen as an anti TRUMP election tho . I think yer pronoun was wrong . ( eff , I hope that was a pronoun )

        1. Which, to me, is literally only because there’s a D next to his name.

Days after theach Florida shooting, his ad was him shooting an AR at a range.

I mean, that could be seen as a rejection of Trump’s “take the guns, due process later” speech he gave. . .so you have a point there.

  11. Life before to much technology and you found out about & felt every muscle in your body. Liniment got a lot of use most of the time until your muscles toughened up some.
Life in the 1930’s on. 😆
YOU had to live it to know what I speak of.
I do mean ,live it, experience it.
LETS SEE—-How many of you have helped in butchering a hog, cutting it up, seasoning & hand mixing sausage, canning , smoking or curing other cuts of it.
Think there has been a little change in what life consisted of before and what it is now.
WOW! DO I feel the difference.LOL

  12. Guess it has been a lot of years Robin.
Washing clothes by hand in a number two tub, .blisters from washing blue jeans by hand. wood stove for cooking & heating carry buckets of water in from well & cistern. So much done by the sweat of your brow, straining of your muscles and the aching of your back.
How I love all the electrical ITEMS that makes things so much easier. BUT, I know how to get things done if “tech” fails .
So many years with so many changes in life and in me. No wonder my hairs grey and I’m getting a little weary.

  13. It’s funny reading some of u guys making ‘ predictions ‘ … #dottiesrandomquotations … And mocking the reaction of lefties … trying to mimimze a win ( prolly) by anti trumpers as ‘ no big whoop ‘ ..

    #giggle
    #legalweeddelivered

  14. EA,don’t be concerned in any way about what DOTTIE has to say, did or is doing .
DOTTIE’s life, she experienced it NOT you.
WEED? TO ME–nothing to brag about when you need it as a crutch to lean on.
I use INNER strength, ever heard of it?

  15. Didn’t know that there was a couple of thousand votes yet to be counted…

    Updated at 12:06 a.m. ET on March 14, 2018

Votes are still being tallied in Tuesday’s special election in Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District — and it appears nearly every single one will need to be counted.

The race between Republican Rick Saccone and Democrat Conor Lamb is down to the wire for this seat deep in Trump Country, with confidence at Lamb’s campaign early in the night giving way to supporters holding their collective breath as the results tightened to a near tie through the evening.

With all precincts reporting, the Associated Press says that the race is too close to call, with Lamb ahead of Saccone by just 579 votes. The outcome appears as though it will be decided by outstanding absentee ballots…

    https://www.npr.org/2018/03/13/593248914/pennsylvania-special-election-down-to-the-wire-in-trump-countryacONSERVATIVE

Conservative Democratic Districts and two candidates. One, trying to distance himself as far away as he can from California Democrats (I’m not like them. lol). The other, a nice guy they say, but a lousy fundraiser and a lousy politician who still may win. We may not even know until tomorrow.

    1. Wow. Lamb is giving his victory speech with only a 579 vote lead with 1,000’s of Absentee ballots yet to be counted. Wonder how many of those Absentees live down here in Florida during the winter months? Wow. Can you say, Dewey, Truman? The potential exists.

        1. Even CNN isn’t going to declare him the winner, yet. Even they’re not that stupid. No one is. It will make for an interesting day tomorrow if he loses, will it not?

Democrat claims victory in tight race. CNN is not projecting a winner.

  16. Dear Lord I’m getting old. All I have done is get dressed, make the bed, clean the floors and have a little breakfast. Puffing like a steam engine . Had to sit down. Still have grocery shopping to do yet later.
THINKING that bed will really look and feel good later today, also maybe a little early. 😆

      1. What’s ‘interesting’ is you claim to be against corruption from all sides but you only harp on the right.

  17. Alex Jones’ conspiracy playbook isn’t going to work anymore if a new lawsuit prevails.
A defamation lawsuit, filed in U.S. district court in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Tuesday against the Infowars mouthpiece and others, seeks to stop them from launching the kind of character assassinations against innocent people that have led to real-world harassment campaigns, death threats and other violent episodes.
The plaintiff, Brennan Gilmore, recorded the vehicular attack that left a counter-protester dead during a far-right rally in Charlottesville last year. Jones branded him a “deep state shill” and “CIA asset” who supposedly helped organize the car attack in order to somehow defame President Donald Trump.

    Betcha dumdum believes him !! :) :)

    1. You don’t post links because you don’t what us to see the trough you gorge in and on almost every day? #1 match here. Why do you try to hide it so when it’s so obvious to most here?

Mar 13, 2018 · Alex Jones’ conspiracy playbook isn’t going to work anymore if a new lawsuit prevails. A defamation lawsuit, filed in U.S. district court in …

    2. I look forward to this backfiring on the left and their ‘catchy’ little slogans like ‘Bush lied, people died’ and having defamation lawsuits filed against them.

  18. Really must be getting old or weaker than usual today. Back in my apartment from shopping, things put away . Sit down with a glass of ice water, gasping for breath. May have to quit eating if this keeps up. 😆

  19. RW, the fact this race was this close means we already won. Even if Lamb loses, shows Trump support outside the Fox viewer base is non-existent. Hell, we even have a Dem Senator from Alabama now. Plus looking at Virginia and New Jersey, we need Trump to do a lot of campaigning this year. :)

    1. The last time an elected Republican represented NJ in the US Senate was 1979.

This state is solidly blue. Never going to change.

    I just guessed, as usual
    ________________________________________

For the vast majority of my bracket……….Common Ground. :)

  21. To all those students out there showing your position, Goodonya. But only 17 minutes. Make a point, not a talking point. But again…..goodonya for taking interest in civic affairs.

  22. I’m trying to resist the idea to view this as a cynical means of just getting out of class.

A student organized a before school protest to keep up with studies. She talked to peers, and expected over 300 to attend.

Guess how many showed up this morning.

    1. My question is: How many of these students are the ones bullying their classmates to the point if snapping and shooting up the school or killing themselves.

There is plenty of hypocrisy to go around with these silly walkouts.

        1. They could ve doing something proactive in their own schools to be more empathetic and understanding toward those They’ve made feel left out and exiled instead of disrupting their own education.

If this had been tried when I was in school there would have been suspensions and maybe more with the truancy officer.

          1. Creighton Prep here in Nebraska said that’s exactly how they’re treating it.

Not a lot of students walked out there. . .on fact I don’t think any did.

  23. He’ll probably win after all the votes are counted, but still, I find it funny. It was said that Trump could have endorsed either one of them – The anti-resist, resist, resist candidate who had to essentially reject the Democratic party in order to win. Will his words match up, the only question. Or, did Lamb pull the wool over the people’s eyes?

…Democrats, meanwhile, are hoping for the victory that eluded them in nearly every other House special election in 2017, as they chip away at their 24-seat deficit in the House.

Lamb, a 33-year-old former Marine, cast himself as a centrist Democrat who rejected Nancy Pelosi’s leadership and demurred on restricting gun rights — a strategy that Democrats hope will attract moderate and independent voters in a district that traditionally backs Republicans.

He’s also acknowledged that his voters “overwhelmingly want me to work with the president, where it benefits us here in western Pennsylvania,” Lamb said Tuesday at a polling place in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, adding, “I’ll be more than happy to do that.”

    https://www.politico.com/story/2018/03/13/pennsylvania-special-election-updates-lamb-saccone-460464

      1. I agree, but we have a President who demands things be done his way. Why we need a new one in 2020. Not until then…..Trump campaigning is great for the Dems. :)

        1. Every Preaident demands things be done their way. It’a nothing new. It’s why it’s called the bully pulpit.

      2. All part of the ‘change’ that people want. But for some reason, I’m sure you won’t hear much about that part of it. Instead, you’ll have people like Schiff and every other California nut job trying to drown it all out. Still trying To ‘super size’ themselves and their vile and hateful voices against a backdrop that is surely going against the current and the mood of the Country.

        1. Yours and Don’s trashing of the whole state of California must be part of the Conservative strategy to unify the land. :)

          1. Resist, resist, resist from November 9th, 2016 on. Impeach 45! The call from the nut jobs in California. Who’s trashing a Country, it’s people, it’s very processes? Back to reality to Bud. Does it even exist in your World? I think not if you’re any evidence of it.

      1. Democrats definitely hate young adults 18 to 21, married white women, dreamers and anyone who voted for Trump.

    1. They can only win by being GOP-lite. If this means the end of Blue Dogs exile from controlling the DNC’s platform I welcome it.

  24. New Jersey’s fiscal situation is so dire that new Governor Phil Murphy has proposed taxing online-room booking, ride-sharing, marijuana, e-cigarettes and Internet transactions along with raising taxes on millionaires and retail sales to fund a record $37.4 billion budget that would boost spending on schools, pensions and mass transit.
    ——–
    Ouch jerzey.

      1. They won’t notice all those crumbs that they’ll be taking from them. Besides, it’s all for good cause, a continuance of failed Progressive policies. Who wouldn’t want to give to that?

    1. Yes……….marijuana. Florida going that way as well. Better than booze. and in Colorad opiod use is down.

    1. It’s not about a win or a loss here, it’s a battle for the narrative. The Blue Tsunami for the Dems. All of it to play out all on it’s own.

      1. I likely don’t mean it in the way you think.

It would be a disaster for the nation having a bunch of tantrum throwing imbeciles running Congress. Hold on to your wallets and rights folks, this is going to hurt.

  25. https://igs.berkeley.edu/news/igs-poll-californians-say-cities-should-not-be-sanctuaries
Californians strongly oppose “Sanctuary City” policies under which local authorities ignore federal requests to detain undocumented immigrants who have been arrested but are about to be released, according to a new poll released today by the Institute of Governmental Studies (IGS) at the University of California, Berkeley.
That opposition includes strong majorities in both major political parties and among independent voters, and crosses other demographic categories. Almost two out of three Latinos said they oppose such policies.
The online survey, which polled 1,098 California residents from Aug. 11-26, found that 74 percent of respondents said local authorities should not be able to ignore a federal request to hold a detained person who is in the country illegally. Only 26 percent of respondents said local authorities should have that right.
Opposition to the Sanctuary City policies crossed the political spectrum, and included 73 percent of Democrats, 82 percent of Republicans, and 71 percent of independents.

    1. So I guess we can infer they’re also not in favor of sanctuary states. From Berkeley, the hotbed of conservatism. 😉

      1. One would think. The percentage’s pretty high. It’s still less than 2,000 surveyed…so *shrug* but still interesting.

          1. Libs love it because they can distort it and use it as a wedge issue.

            “They hate immigrants!!!”

          2. Funny how the “illegal” part always escapes them. I’m sure it’s just an oversight. Like the “radical” they leave out in reference to Muslims.

  26. My son, like all of the students at his school, had a choice to protest/march or not. He didn’t. I asked him why, he said..well it’s cold, it was for only 17 minutes, and I don’t agree with asking for more gun control.

    :)
    Glad he’s above peer pressure.

  27. So called adults “manipulating” students to carry through their agenda. Seems they are to cowardly to
stand up and do their own talking. They MUST keep their own “shirt tails clean”.
Using the young ,urging them into thinking it is all their own[students] idea.

    1. If these kids really wanted to do something meaningful they’d stop being little assholes to their peers. Problem is they’ll never take that responsibility because their parents haven’t given them any fetching up.

      1. YES Triscuit, that is about what I say.
Having parents that know how to teach their children right from wrong and how to stand on their own feet, shouldering responsibility for themselves.
Parents that face up to those responsibilities in themselves.
It helps to have had that ‘fetchen up” in order to teach it to others.

  28. MORALITY
Seems as if many people don’t know of the word
or if they heard of it ,they don’t know what it means.
It is also possible they just don’t care.
Thinking about the mentality of suppose to be educated adults and what they are teaching some of the younger generation.
